Here is a collection of images that have been dancing out of my Wacom pen this summer. Blues and lavenders. Old silver and delphiniums. Lovebirds and secret gardens. Abandoned fountains and a castle in the mists. Some of these are from dreams, some from my garden, some from my Great Grandmother. It’s an eclectic collection appropriate, I think, for illustrating daydreams, grand notions, memories, and love letters that may or may not ever be sent.

But me and my daughter we have a wonderful habbit and it's the most wonderful moment of the day for me...

Some time ago we moved from picture books to stories written in letters ;) And what I love to do is finding beautiful stories for Zuzia... stories full of goodnes and fairies which can do anything.
Few weeks ago I found a story about Angel's favourite flowers... dandelions. Flowers loved by all kids in the world :) After reading this short fairytale we were lying in bed and imagining Dandelion Faeries flying in the woods and changing plain yellow flowers into magician fluffy balls to bring kids a lot of joy and fun.

New job as assistent CT Head at Valentina's Creations

Yesterday I applied to the CT Call of Valentina’s Creations and that same day I received an email from Valentina that I’m welcome to her CT!!
I’m so happy, I love her designs. You can find so much gorgeous kits here in her store.

And there’s more news!! She asked me to be CT Head Assistant for her team. So now I’m working together with Lisa aka EAL, the new CT Head.

The first kit I’ve worked with is an older kit by Valentina, called Dreamland
"Dreamland" is a beautiful kit that includes 85 elements and 20 wonderful papers. All the illustrations are made by Valentina.

The proceeds of this charity collaboration will go to the Red Cross 2011 New Zealand earthquake appeal.
The Beautiful Earth Charity collab is priced at $12.50 (poignant because at 12:51pm on the 22nd of February 2011 the earthquake happened). At 12:50pm (1 minute before the earthquake) everything was normal. One minute later the lives of everyone affected and the landscape of Christchurch would be changed forever.
